KnS 2 built upon everything that made the first game great. The art is breathtaking, the music haunting, and the story Well I'd hate to ruin it.
Brutal, sad, brutally sad. An incredible game for an incredible series, and I absolutely cannot wait for the third. I want Reiji to die already. Now don't get me wrong, I love Reiji just as much as the next guy. But he's suffered enough already for fuck's sake. The true end left me with just as much despair as it did to him. There is no happy end, and as much of a masterpiece as this is, god damn it hits hard. If you loved the first Kara no Shoujo then you will enjoy this one.
There's a lot of new story with a new case and murder to figure out. Huge cast of characters old and new faces. It felt like there was less sex scenes compared to the first but the story was so great that this did not matter.
Multiple endings have left me cringing or a little spooked for awhile and the true end really wrapped up the story line that we wanted from the start. Although it is a sequel to Kara no Shoujo, I feel like playing Cartagra before this game is also important since it goes into detail about characters like Nana Cartagra who do not get a sprite in this game. Some of the most heart-warming moments with Shugo and Toji touch base on what happened in Cartagra so I worry the game won't have the same effect on someone who hasn't played.
I cried as much as the main character did in the true end. After finally finishing the true end I had to step back and give in to all emotions. This wonderful piece was worth the wait. I know one tiny flaw this work has would be the switching form past to present. It took a while for me to get use to that but after reading it twice I ended up liking it. Other than that Kara no Shoujo the second episode delivered and was not disappointed.
